About James Memorial Homes
As far back as 1869 Almshouse flats have provided housing for single people and couples in Nechells.
Elizabeth and Emma James benefacted the land, and 150 years later The James Charities continue to prosper and make homes available.
Many improvements have been made to modernise the flats to ensure a quality standard. Residents are afforded secure accommodation, with on-site support, whilst at the same time still maintaining their own independence.
